America in Bloom (AIB) promotes nationwide beautification through education and community involvement by encouraging the use of flowers, plants, trees, and other environmental and lifestyle enhancements. Each year, two AIB advisors visit our town to tour for a week and immerse themselves in the heart of Edmonston. The goal of their visit is to provide viewpoints, and feedback on how the town can improve its environment, sustainability practices, and inclusivity efforts.

The town is graded on these seven pillars:

• Floral Display
• Landscaping
• Urban Forestry
• Heritage Preservation
• Environmental Initiatives
• Community Vitality
• Overall Impression
