Policing in 2020 Virtual Town Hall

The County Executive will host a virtual town hall on policing at 4:30 PM with a number of panelists. The town hall will be moderated by Joe Clair. We know that our community is hurting along with our nation and encourage residents to be a part of this critical and timely conversation.

Hospitals are Safe

Hospitals are safe for residents (i.e. they will not catch COVID-19 if they go), so you should not hesitate to go to the hospital in the event of a medical emergency.

Modified Phase One Reopening Webpage

On June 1, 2020, the Stay-At-Home Order was lifted and Prince George’s County entered a modified phase one reopening. While some businesses will reopen with modifications, we are encouraging residents to continue to stay home as much as possible and use good judgment.

WSSC Water Reopening Guidance

For businesses with buildings that may have been closed for an extended period of time, water in the pipes may have become stagnant. WSSC Water has some graphics with guidance on flushing the pipes to clear stagnant water, which can damage pipes if not handled properly. More information can be found online below:

Prince George’s Forward Task Force

The County Executive recently announced the Prince George’s Forward Task Force. The webpage contains information about the purpose of the Task Force and its basic structure. It also has a copy of the Executive Order establishing the Task Force and a list of current members. This webpage will be updated so our community can stay up-to-date.
