EDMONSTON, MD – On Friday, August 7, 2020, at approximately 6:45AM, Edmonston Police officers responded to the 4900 block of 52nd Avenue for a welfare check. When officers arrived, they discovered a male inside of his home suffering from trauma. He was pronounced dead on the scene. An autopsy was conducted and revealed the cause of death to be from multiple injuries. The manner of death was ruled a homicide.
The victim was identified as 60-year-old Jeffrey Windsor of Edmonston, MD. Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random crime. The Edmonston Police Department is working closely with the Prince Georges County Police as Detectives are working to identify a suspect(s) and motive.
