Distribution of Rapid Test Kit & KN95 masks

The County is continuing to distribute COVID-19 rapid test kits at select libraries and community centers this week.

NEW: Adult sized KN95 masks will also be distributed at the same locations, while supplies last. Test kits and KN95 masks are free and residents must show proof of County residency. One test kit, which contains 2 tests, will be distributed per person ages 2 years or older present at the time of pick-up. Residents are eligible to receive 2 KN95 masks per person present.

Prince George’s County Continues At-Home Rapid Covid-19 Test Kit Distribution with Additional Location and Extended Hours

The COVID-19 test kits are free, regardless of insurance or immigration status. Residents will be required to show proof of County residency to receive a test kit. Examples of proof of residency include, but are not limited to, a driver’s license, utility bill, or lease agreement. One test kit, which contains 2 tests, will be distributed per person ages 2 years or older who are present at the time of pick-up.

The County Health Department and the Office of Emergency Management will continue distributing at-home rapid COVID-19 tests at designated locations this week, in partnership with the Prince George’s County Memorial Library System (PGCMLS) and the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC).

The County Health Department and Office of Emergency Management extended hours of operation for the COVID-19 testing site at the Bunker Hill Fire Station (3716 Rhode Island Avenue, Brentwood, MD, 20722) to include Saturday hours. That site is now open Monday through Friday, from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM and Saturday, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, on a walk-in basis only. The County also operates a COVID-19 testing site at the Temple Hills Community Center (5300 Temple Hill Road, Temple Hills, MD 20748) Monday through Saturday, from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, on a walk-in basis only. In addition, the County continues to support the COVID-19 testing sites at the First United Methodist Church of Hyattsville and the Roseu Medical Center in Laurel.

White House COVID-19 Test Kit Delivery

The White House is now providing free rapid at-home COVID-19 test kits. Every home in the U.S. is now eligible to order 4 free at-⁠home COVID-⁠19 tests. You must provide your name and residential mailing address. Tests will ship through the mail within 7-12 days of ordering, with no shipping fees.
