Dear Friends and Neighbors,
The coronavirus has hit our community hard, and there is no quick end in sight. These past several months have been difficult and trying, and we all miss our normal lives. We must not relax prematurely, however, because not only is the virus still out there, it appears to be more widespread than before. We all long for intelligent and coherent national leadership to combat the spread of COVID-19, but instead we must do the best we can locally in the meantime.
There has been a disturbing upturn in infections over the past few weeks in Prince George’s. As a result, the Phase Two reopening has been modified. I urge you to use common sense and exercise prudent caution. We all wish we could enjoy large gatherings, but wise and responsible behavior is required. Homes at Palmer Park Meadows are now on the market for sale. The Census Matters to Prince George’s
The U.S. Census count is underway. Minority communities have too often been undercounted, and as a result do not receive the amount of federal funding they would otherwise receive if every resident were included and counted. Please urge everyone you know in the County to be counted. The questionnaire can be done over the phone by calling 1-844-330-2020 or by visiting https://my2020census.gov/.
