Veterans Park was dedicated in 2006 to the men and women of the Armed Forces who have served our nation. Veteran’s Park was rededicated on April 23, 2017 honoring all those that have served both past and present.
Veterans Park is located on the corner of Decatur Street and Taylor Road.
Art MAGNET is a public art project by Operation ARTS Foundation that works to engage the community through creative place-making. With the revitalization of the arts and tourism in mind, the project brings a new take on interaction with its “make art, take art” policy, which creates a new form of artistic dialogue that nurtures interconnectivity. This project brings beauty, community creativity, collaboration, education, culture, engagement, and tourism to the area. Little Free Library gives the community and opportunity to have access to free books and promotes the importance of reading. Over the past 3 years, the town of Edmonston has installed four Little Free Library’s located around the town. These efforts are in partnership with Operation Arts, who built and designed each of them including a theme and colorful art display. We encourage you to visit one of our locations and remember, take a book, see a book! Click here to learn more.
Edmonston’s Food Pantry is a 24-hour location where our community feeds neighbors in need. Our policy is “Take what you need, leave what you can.” Please donate nonperishable and unexpired food items such as cans, boxes, or other package foods. Learn more about this project here.
